When we first floated the idea of moving for a year, the kids were resistant (naturally). One day they were talking about water parks and so we suggested that we would probably come across many water parks during our travels. We committed that we would intentionally seek out water parks along the way and that helped them come around to the idea of moving abroad. We needed to fulfill this promise somewhat early in our year so today we went to Shefayim Park just north of Herzliya. Box officially checked. At least for now. We came back to Tel Aviv for some swimming and relaxing on the roof deck and David had some zoom meetings. Given the Knesset’s vote tonight on limiting judicial power, we are curious to see what Tel Aviv may look like in the morning. David returned the rental car tonight just in case roads are blocked tomorrow.
